Tonbofa is the managing partner of the Firm. She received an LL.B from the University of Lagos and has a Masters of Law from Harvard Law School where she was involved in clinical work involving the energy and international finance sectors. She also studied economic analysis of policy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Tonbofa practiced in the Nigerian firms of Strachan Partners and Olaniwun Ajayi LP, where she was the Head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice (a team of 13 lawyers).
Tonbofa was, the Director-General of the Bayelsa State Government Due Process and e-Governance Bureau and the Co-ordinator of the Bayelsa State Child Development Account (CDA) Project (a Bayelsa State Government solely sponsored initiative in partnership with Columbia University, World Bank and New America Foundation aimed at encouraging students and their parents to save for their future education).
Tolulope is a shrewd lawyer with a defined career purpose of rendering quality legal services to her clients. Tolulope who graduated with a First Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School was prior to joining the firm, a formidable member of the Dispute Resolution Practice of Olaniwun Ajayi where she represented clients in litigation actions and on investment transactions. She understands the ISA and the Rules made pursuant to it.
Tolulope has represented clients like Celtel Nigeria Ltd (now Airtel), Access Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Intercontinental Mortgages, NCDMB, AMCON, Unity Bank Plc, Heritage Bank, United Capital Plc and a host of others in several transactions in the several sectors of the economy.
Her wealth of experience in diverse areas of the law and her apt ability to comprehend her client's needs so as to proffer solutions to them speak volume of her invaluable brilliance and accuracy.

Amakiri David Yibakuo is a bright legal practitioner with a passion for mastering his clients’ areas of interest. His strength lies in his pragmatic, hands-on approach to resolution of issues. He is a graduate of the prestigious University of Benin, where he obtained a degree in Law. He is an associate and an important member of the firm’s transactions practice. He advises clients on legal aspects of their business, corporate governance, real estate transactions, white collar crimes, etc. He is currently representing clients in the regulatory and financial sector in various courts.
He has up-to-date knowledge of public debt management regulation in Nigeria, power sector reforms, local content issues and banking regulations. He has a penchant for legal research. He has published works in several journals and books of articles. His research interest covers areas such as Central Bank policies and banking regulation, international politics, corporate governance and local content in the Nigerian petroleum industry.
He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association. Outside the law, he has knowledge of modern and medieval European history.
He has worked on a number of legal matters including:
- Part of a team representing members of several Niger Delta communities in oil spillage matters in court;
- Part of a team representing the electricity regulator in a public interest suit;
- Representing clients in insolvency and winding-up proceedings;
- Represented the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investments, in a real estate dispute involving Federal Government acquired properties in South East.
